Roadchef: Multiple service station/hotel sites across the UK

At that time we ensured the phone line connection was kept in top notch condition and used only the best routers to push the bandwidth limits to get the best out of what was available. This coupled with bandwidth management meant that a working Internet connection was available for residents 24/7. If you then fast forward to today we provide WalkinWiFi® to all of the Roadchef Motorway Service Areas as well as their estate of Days Inn Hotels. To combat issues seen previously -and with the massive increase in data requirements with the multitude of new smart devices - we worked closely with Roadchef to make the (not insubstantial) investment of fibre leased line connectivity at every location. This allows the customer access to an industry leading level of service. The Service Area installation project involved close interaction with Roadchef’s I.T. team and we had the in house expertise to aid with VLAN configuration and Cisco switch configurations to be able to securely integrate with Roadchef’s nationwide fibre optic network. Now every single Hotel and MSA has an Ultra Reliable, High Speed Internet Connection to which thousands of people connect and work every single week – all proposed, configured and installed by WalkinWiFi®.
